The tracking number is the first four letters of your last name, today's date (yyddmm) , plus a dash ( - ) and  number of the book in chronological order (1,2,3, ect...).

 Example:  The date is  January 24, 2002,  and this is the second book that Jane Swift  has suggested for purchase.  Her tracking number would be: swif012402-2.

First four letters of last name:  swif
Date of request:  012402
This is the second book suggested on this date: -2
