Enrich the lives of
Terrell County Citizens by Volunteering to Teach A Course at the Terrell
Virtual Education Center (TVEC).
We want to expand our curriculum and seek courses, workshops, and seminars
in the following areas:
Internet Technology: (HTML, Web Design, Searching the Net, Using
Search Engines, etc.)
Computer: Introduction to PCs, PC Maintenance, Microsoft Office
(Word, Excel, Access, FrontPage).
Basic Education (math, science, reading, social studies, and other
curriculum for high school and adult learners).
Classes on health, wellness, personal finance, hobbies, and all self-help/self-improvement
topics
Public service classes on coping with disabilities, child abuse, the environment, and
other contemporary issues.
If you don't have time to teach a weekly class, you can develop a self-guided course
where students interact with peers and learn at their own pace. Once you have written the
lessons, no further effort on your part is required.
